August 7 - 8 "Slug Fest 2010" Come & join us and the 3 other wineries along Slug Gulch Road for the 3rd annual Slug Fest Wine Festival. The other participating wineries are dkCellars, Oakstone, and Obscurity Cellars. We will all be serving light appetizers and featuring the wines made from the grapes grown along Slug Gulch Rd. We typically don't charge for this event, however to ease the burden on our dishwashers we are asking participants to purchase a cute commemorative logo glass for $5.00. When you bring the glass back next year there will not be any additional charge. Come and discover the remarkable wines made from a unique area of Fair Play.
September 11 - 12 "Blessing of the Grapes" Come & join us for our traditional Blessing of the Grapes ceremony. This annual ritual has been repeated every year since the early settling of Armenia, much before Armenia accepted Christianity as its official religion in 301 A.D. However, it is not unique to Armenia. This annual blessing of the grapes is now held throughout the world at harvest time, and more recently at an increasing number of California wineries. To accompany our wines will have some wonderful food, and special discounts will be given on our wines. Live music will be provided Jonny Mojo. Come and discover this remarkable ceremony.
